Information
MEDICATION CIRCUIT
The clinic has an in-house pharmacy managed by a pharmacist.
- The establishment's pharmacists, in collaboration with the doctors and nursing staff, implement all the rules required to ensure the safety of the medication circuit and the quality of your care.
- You must report any adverse drug reactions to the nursing staff immediately.
PERSONAL TREATMENT
To ensure your safety, you may not keep your personal treatment (art.17 of the decree of 31 March 1999 relating to the prescription and administration of medicines in health establishments).
When you arrive, you must hand it in to the nurse who is in charge of you. Depending on your state of health, the clinic's doctors will prescribe it again in-house. If the pharmacy does not have your treatment, the pharmacist may have to use your medicines temporarily to ensure continuity of care.
PAIN MANAGEMENT
Health professionals are responsible for :
- Prevent: All pain caused by treatment or examinations (injections, catheterisation, removal of drains, mobilisation, etc.).
- Treat or relieve: both acute pain (post-operative) and chronic pain (dialysis patients, back pain, cancer pain, etc.)
- Listen: not everyone reacts in the same way to pain, and to help us tailor your treatment more effectively, you can tell us how much pain you feel by giving us a score from 0 to 10.
There are many ways of treating pain:
- Analgesics: These are drugs that relieve pain. There are several types (from paracetamol to morphine).
- Other devices, adapted to your case, can be used to reduce your pain and improve your comfort and well-being: ergonomic cushions, ice packs, cooling compression systems, etc.
Our teams are trained in this area and work closely together to help you relieve your pain.
They will explain the treatment and how it is carried out, and put in place the best practices to ensure you receive the care you need.
