ACCOMMODATION

Social security pays for accommodation in double rooms. The establishment offers single rooms depending on availability on the day of your admission.

  • The rates are given to you when you are pre-admitted and are displayed in the admissions department. The cost may be partially or fully covered by certain mutual insurance companies.
  • The day of discharge is included in the bill for the private room(in accordance with decree no. 2019-719 of 08/07/2019 containing various financial provisions relating to health establishments).

PRIVATE ROOMS

Private rooms provide a more comfortable stay while respecting the privacy of your own space for you and your visitors.

ATTENDANTS

Accompanying persons may be accommodated in single rooms subject to availability of beds on the day of your admission and in compliance with medical indications. Breakfast is included in the price of the accompanying person's bed. They may order a meal at an additional cost. Accompanying bed and meal prices are available upon pre-admission and are displayed in the Admissions Department.

VISITS

Visitors are authorised:

  • In hospital wards, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and are limited to 2 visitors per room, including in single rooms.
  • In the Continuous Monitoring Unit (USC) and the Cardiology Intensive Care Unit (USIC), from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and are limited to 1 visitor at a time.

Visits by young children or babies are strictly forbidden due to the risk of infection for them and for patients.

Flowers and animals are not permitted in the establishment.

Please respect the peace and quiet of the establishment.

With the patient's consent, family and friends may meet the medical team.

On request to the nursing staff, you may receive the minister of your choice.

MEALS

Meals are served in your room at set times. Breakfast is served from 08:00, lunch from 12:00 and dinner from 18:00. Meals are offered according to the dietary requirements of your condition or as prescribed by your doctor.

  • For reasons of hygiene and safety, no food or drink may be brought in.
  • For patients who have had maxillofacial surgery, here is some advice on diet.

RULES

For a full hospitalisation stay, you will pay the costs not covered by your mutual insurance company when you leave.

COSTS PAYABLE BY THE PATIENT

According to current regulations, certain fees will be charged. These are not reimbursed by the French Health Insurance but may be covered by your private insurance or complementary health coverage. Please check with your provider. Exemptions may apply, particularly for beneficiaries of the Universal Health Coverage or State Medical Aid. The complete list of exemptions is available at ameli.fr.

Daily hospital charge: €20 per day (including the day of discharge) 

This charge represents your financial contribution to accommodation and maintenance costs during your hospitalization. It is applicable for each day of hospitalization, including the day of discharge. It does not apply to outpatient stays. The amount is set by ministerial decree. 

Fixed contribution: €32 per stay 

Preserving the healthcare system is everyone’s responsibility, and you contribute to it through healthcare expenses. This portion, which remains your responsibility, is referred to as a “fixed contribution” or “copayment”. 

The fixed contribution of €32 applies to procedures costing €120 or more. For procedures under €120, a copayment may still be required. 

No other charges, except those for medical services provided or optional services you specifically requested (such as a private room), can be billed. The cost of these optional services must be communicated to you prior to your care.

IF YOU ARE NOT COVERED BY SOCIAL SECURITY

You will have to pay the full hospitalisation costs on the basis of an estimate drawn up in advance by the clinic and accepted by you.

MEANS OF PAYMENT: HOSPITALISATION COSTS

Cheque, bank card or cash.

PRACTITIONERS' FEES

You will pay any excess fees to the practitioner via the admissions department. Fees paid to practitioners are not included in the Clinic's income. Bank cards are not accepted by all practitioners. Cheque, bank card or cash.
