Clinique Turin

History of the Clinique TURIN

Founded in 1882 by a religious congregation, the Clinique TURIN is one of the oldest private hospitals in Paris. Its humanism is the foundation of the values that motivate the establishment's teams and the private doctors who serve its patients.

In 1908, the Congregation decided to call on qualified partners, giving rise to the S.A. Maison de Chirurgie. At that time, the Turin Clinic welcomed hospital heads of department who were working part-time in the public sector: Professors Leger, Natali and Jost. They were the predecessors of today's practitioners, initiating a tradition of quality and technical expertise, as well as a privileged relationship with public hospitals, which remain the hallmarks of the Clinique Turin.

In 1964, the EUROPE group, which already included a hospital, one of Paris's leading dispensaries, a mutual medical assistance organisation and an occupational medicine association, took over the Maison de Chirurgie and integrated it into this original complex, which had a capacity of over 250 beds and places.

In 2015, the clinic was sold to the neighbouring Clinique Internationale du Parc Monceau, an independent establishment with complementary specialities. The entrepreneurial and family nature of the new group is a guarantee of its commitment to developing a high-quality care offering and preserving human values.

In September 2019, the two clinics will be sold to the Almaviva Santé Group.
